ARC promotes research on phenomena related to the Afterlife with particular emphasis on ethnographic approaches. Click here for ARC research interests.

ARC Publications

ARC is promoting the publication of monographs and edited volumes, and is currently disseminating research through the peer-reviewed journal Paranthropology available both in digital and print format.

Conferences and workshops

ARC holds an annual international workshop and organises panels at national and international conferences.

Documentaries

ARC is setting up a series of film and photo documentaries drawing on members' fieldwork in different countries.

Networking

ARC aims to bring scholars from different fields together in an interdisciplinary dialogue around practices and phenomena related to the Afterlife. We use new social media networks, such as the Ning Forum, as a tool to encourage discussion and debate within a growing community of both scholars and practitioners.
